Flyers Creek Wind Farm, NSW

Elecnor is currently constructing the Flyers Creek Wind Farm near Orange, New South Wales. The 145MW project was secured in early 2022, and is expecting to be commissioned in mid-2023. Elecnor is completing the full balance of plant for the civil and electrical works, as well as a 33/132kV substation and 15km of 132kV overhead transmission lines.

Goyder South Wind Farm, SA

The second wind project Elecnor secured in Australia was the Goyder South Wind Farm. This 412MW wind farm commenced construction in early 2022, and is expected to be commissioned in 2024. The wind farm is the largest renewables project in South Australia. Elecnor is completing this project in a consortium structure with GE Renewables, who are supplying the turbines for the project. Elecnor’s scope consists of the full balance of plants for the civil and electrical works, a 33/275kV substation, and 34.2km of 275kV overhead transmission lines.

Goyder South Wind Farm, SA

Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park (PAREP), SA

Elecnor entered in to the Australian wind market in 2020 with the Port Augusta Renewable Energy Park (PAREP). This 220MW wind farm is a part of a wind/solar hybrid energy park located near Port Augusta. Elecnor completed the full balance of plant for the civil and electrical works for this project. The works were completed in conjunction with Vestas, who were the turbine supplier for the project. Elecnor also delivered a 33/275kV substation and 5km of 275kV underground transmission lines.
